Goodbye In Poetry

No matter how complicated this life, it appeared to be
I could always find comfort in thoughts, of a you and me
Goodbye written in poetry, it’s huts just know you had to try

Now I wonder who occupies your time
It’s the loneliness or just the thrill
If you feel it’s time to move on
I guess I can do the same
But tell me...
How do I extinguish this flame

Promises, commitments and years, a past you can’t lose
You never asked, I felt you wanted me to choose
I guess I wanted the best of both worlds
Injury without a bruise, but the sensation we cannot deny

Now I wonder who occupies your time
It’s the loneliness or just the thrill
If you feel it’s time to move on
I guess I can do the same
But tell me...
How do I extinguish this flame
What about this flame

(Instrumental)

I can live without passion, but not your friendship
Tell me, can you do the same
What will you do... do with your flame
