CHRIST AS A MAN

Just show a man surpassing That.
I'll leave my Idol and look at.
I've searched the volume of great men,
But none can outshine Jesus Christ.

I've found great courage in Socrates
As history his death tale narrates.
But history shows that Jesus Christ
Has shown unequalled human traits.

Whose love could drive to restore sight
To touch the leprous with no fright,
To raise the dead and restore cheers
More than the loving Jesus Christ.

He loved the weak; He loved the strong.
He looked with mercy at the wrong.
He did not take but always gave
And all He had was to the throng.
