The harder sex of lesser stars
Some just in it for the kick
Others for an easy buck

Love that quote! Some of these films are bottom-of-the-barrel but tops when it comes to fun. "Glen or Glenda" and "Mud Honey" are a couple more worth mentioning. Thanks for the praise and RL entry, Jade!

Gorgeous prose, it has an almost dissonant, dystopian tone to it which I love!

Thanks, floralii. I tried for a tone in keeping with the subject. Dissonance and a dystopian view were an undercurrent to many of these films. Try "Death Race 2000."
