the morning light bathed me
with thoughts of you
sweet sinful seduction
I come to you shamelessly

this glorious day
you entered like a breeze
claiming my heart

the fog lifted
and a new dawn was born

in the sunlight of your affections
my soul warmed
and my inner being shone

you noticed me here
singing my song
when I thought no one was listening

you found me beautiful
tucked quietly inside my poetry
a place for new beginngs
a chance to be the real me

pressed in a book
you saw my face
smiling back at you

I didn't notice you watching from afar
until you sent me roses
announcing your presence

loving lady with a tender essence
I'm grateful to know you
kisses for your soul
and the joy you bring
