The Dark

     
the energies are surging    
and collecting here    
inside this sacred place    
while our third eye is blazing    
    
you speak to the darkness in me directly    
it has its place within me    
a place I sheltered since I was a young one    
    
the dark has watched over me    
I am its child    
a hybrid both light and dark    
the dark takes this time    
to visit with me    
it's been awhile    

the portal of the lost dawn  
is opened    
I walk through  
and embrace my brother    
an angel of light    
now fallen    
    
he sees me and I him    
no need for words
we understand each other    
    
he mingles with my soul    
tasting my light    
the shine he hungers for    
    
I take him in my arms    
telling him i'm wide awake    
and will continue to see him    
    
the planes of existence have merged    
we are allowed to be together again
