Much appreciated , truly...
This is one I wrote awhile ago...there are about 35 poems
from my past , posted now , the other 100 , or so I wrote
in the last month and a half ;
There is a companion to this in my poems posted , about
three weeks ago , called Abbess and Ibis , Ode to Joyce 2 ;
I had a lot of fun writing them...
Joyce's mind was so wonderful , and his sense of puns and
wordplay resonates so much with my soul...
So I dedicated those two to him , and his work Finnegan's
Wake has given me endless hours of joy , and "pun" ishment
as I read it...
As in one word , such as "Peatrick" , there are so many layers !
I can only hope I have done him justice , in my poems !
