UNDERNEATH THE CHESTNUT TREE (not the song)

Under the spreading chestnut tree,
My love took my virginity,
Within sound of a passing train
While our breaths rose in a refrain.

The Maytime sun was very warm,
To be kind on the naked form,
But I led him to the tree's shade
Before I let our love be made.

I'd long cherished that fantasy
Of where I'd like to lose cherry,
The tree, in its upright glory,
Looked so phallic to minds earthy.

The tree was on his father's land
Where he was a live-in farmhand.
His tanned and muscle toned body
Inspired in other girls envy.

I'd got used to his hands on me
When in the lanes he would see me,
Both of us in t-shirts and jeans,
Love blossoming in country scenes.

We'd got this far in our romance
One's hands would stray on other's pants
And pull the garments well away
So our loins saw the light of day.

His hands on my breasts were tender,
Urging me towards surrender
Of me to his encouraged will.
(Was ready, I'd gone on the pill.)

How gentle with me did he start
Approaching my core with his part,
All the while with hands caressing
And gripping rumps for possessing.

On the grass my back did tumble.
As he entered, ground did rumble.
It was too late for getting up,
I was pinned down as we did tup.

I realised, while on my back,
Our tree was facing a rail track;
I asked him, as he pumped his penis;
"D'you think from that train they've seen us?"

My unscripted interruption
Quite postponed his seed's eruption,
As for a moment he withdrew,
Propped himself up to answer true.

He laughed, "I know the trains quite well;
By which comes up time I can tell.
The train this time would be all freight;
No passengers to see us mate!"

I was shaking like a leaf
Not with nervousness but relief.
"Next train's not another hour"
He said. I lay back in his power.

I followed his caressing lead,
Finished the interrupted deed.
In other sense earth moved for us
At climax of our coitus.
