"In the daylight I can see
all the troubles haunting me"

Skies have been painted grey for eons
death's chill has crept over my way
floorboards creak in your absence
reminding of a happier days

The dances so slow and erotic
disrobing more than just fear
enacted in stiff revelation
dictacting your presence draw near

Hours upon hours of distraction
feeding more logs to the flame
steamed in lost aspiration
breathless I call out your name

Your scent still roams my hallways
I can never let you leave me alone
faded and locked in a memory
together we'll always be home
