Suddenly Something
I thought of thanking God - for the rain
Then I thought of Mother Moon ...
And how probably it was in some way, Her fault
What I liked was the change and the nourishment
Of the soil and plants and everything
Goodness seeping through, lovingly, fast and slow
I told Peter that Lydia Lunch does it for me
Or more precisely, I'd do it any way for her
Her writing turns me on the most, don't tell her
She's kind of sassy fucked up cute smart as besides
The scene in 'Will Work For Drugs' with the glove
The leather glove going up her heroine's snatch
Yeah she loved it like the dirty bitch she was
The glove, the waft, the crashing waves of bliss
The brutal force, desired, needed, a devil laughs
Colored eyes look out, wanting to begin
The silent mind goes inward, searching for a fiend
A sudden sound alarms him, what is that?
Afraid to look, disappointed, sorry helpless, again
She had been awfully patient ... He knew that
He loved her sweet like a young boy's first
Not resisting the urge, that sudden thrashing urge
Blasted thing, as much as I scrubbed ...
They remained, dull though they may be
Wait for the end and the art, wait expectantly
See the arc of our fall, see the beauty
Some hope he thought, though distant were his stars
Luckily, his moon was not far at all
Suddenly something, it was her, ravishing and wistful
Beware their magic powers, before happiness ensues
Then I thought of Mother Moon ...
And how probably it was in some way, Her fault
What I liked was the change and the nourishment
