Destroy me by cremation, i beg of you observatory of 47'

Legs crossed quaint
in nude stockings
as if to cut through the air,
the clouds,
faster
than a javelin.

Folded
white hotel bed sheets
the metal rooftop did,
a black limousine it use to be.

would you not of made a better bride than corpse,
carried in arms than cumulus currents?

did you count the floors passing,
flashing on the way down?

liquefied upon being moved
over glass smashed,
onlookers leering in dismay.

a white scarf floating was the only indication
of a head on calamity,
a jamboree frenzy of wolves,
gasp's,
awe's.

yet your eyes softly closed
as if to sleep so longed and sought,
a tired pretty face on bustling streets of emotion.

the whole world paused
in the wake of a city that never sleeps.

gloves grasping for a familiar blouse one last time.

red lipstick not even smudged,
you taught me how peace of mind
could be poured
from a teapot or over a towers railing.
