Incubus

He told me he loved me,
Then laughs in my face

He told me he needed me,
As he put my frozen heart in a brace.

I’m starting to think I might be insane,
To think this is normal,
The pleasure in pain.

I’m a fool for a devilish grin that hides a silver forked tongue,
A venomous bite, that deliciously stung

I am not the victim
I am the brilliant mastermind.
He thinks he’s controlling me,
But I had the road predesigned.

Mama warned me about his type,
I’ve known since I was younger,
But I had a dangerous fetish,
And he could satisfy my hunger

To live amongst a demon is a dangerous feat,
But even the fires of hell can’t contain my heat.
I push him on purpose, so he won’t be gentle,
If you could only see it the way i do,
You wouldn’t say I was mental.

He kisses my cheek,
and wraps his hand around my throat,
His lips are my poison,
And his touch,
 The antidote.
