Murphy's Law

Lost out here
My thoughts converge
Gunslinger with no destination

With the breeze
I wander over everywhere
And with the trees I drift right along

From this view
I admire that ocean blue
Where dreams behave like clouds
They change every time

Stomach growls
And my horse is amused
He snorts with a southern drawl

We argue again
He wants this I want that
Before we know it night has come

From this view
I admire that ocean blue
Where dreams behave like clouds
They change every time

My aim was true
But with the blood trickling
I guess I wasn't quick like I thought

When I awoke
My horse laid with me
And the dead said not a word

From this view
I admire that ocean blue
Where dreams behave like clouds
They change every time

Leg propped up
I witnessed a northern girl
She pulled my jaw back into place

Stepped outside
I waved and limped along
Bought a steed but he's not like you

From this view
I admire that ocean blue
Where dreams behave like clouds
They change every time
