Captive insanity

Sanity inside my mind is wounded  
Silenced violently and suddenly
Bleeding profusely  
The end of existence is stalking  
 
Minds are fragile creatures  
Afflicted with demons  
Led by sin with good intentions  
Devils with halos and hell in their eyes  
 
Destroyed and broken by the demons  
Nursed back to health by angels  
Sent back into the war  
Where your impaired with fear.  

Addicted to persue love  
Only to be confused with lust.  
Blinded by emotions  
 
Leaving you betwixt and in between  
Love and lust.  
Fight, run, or freeze?  
Is it even possible to love you still?  
Can I forgive the devil you've become?  
 
I've slowly creeped away  
Footstep by doorstep.  
Love Is no longer found  
Behind your eyes, or  
In your touch  
 
I've tasted the poison on your lips  
Deliciously dangerous as it  
poisons my mind  
Bringing my fractured mind to the  
Edge of sanity  
Reality seems strange and unforgiving.  
Captive inside insanity  
Fighting to return to sanity.
