Prayer For Peace

Faithful is Your love, Oh God
Neverending grace
Faithful by my side, Oh God
Shine upon my face
My tears, they stream a river bed
My heart feels split in half  
My life, it flows into Your hands
My journey is Your plan
 
Hold me in Your arms, Oh God
Soothe me with Your grace
Hold me to Your heart, Oh God
Look upon my face
This world is broken, bruised, and hurt
Your heart is filled with love
Your life, a blessing to the earth
My trust, in You above
 
Make me humble to your plan
Help me when I fail
When I lament my weakness, God
Help my faith, so frail
Lead me in Your will, Oh God
Lead me to Your peace
Lead me from myself, Oh God
Help my faith increase
 
Bring me strength this day, Oh God
Bring hope for each tomorrow
Bring me peace in You, Oh God
Soothe away this sorrow
I thank you for Your peace, Oh God
It’s precious and alive
Fill my heart and mind, Oh God
Through trial, help me thrive.
