Thank you Teri!  LDF caused me to remember  that awkward time in my life.  The French is born out of a love for the language. I minored in French and never get to use it.  Pure romance 💕 Merci beaucoup ma jolie poeta!

Reading your note, it's good to know that this one's personal.  I love the structure, the brief, fragmented lines that say so much.  Shelley perhaps helped make you a man and, as young muse, steered you to poetry.  Just a guess.  A fine job from a very versatile writer.

Interestingly I had been thinking you were French...but I believe you master the language quite well.
Glad to read your poems with a variey of styles. This is a great write and reminded me of my good old time when I was in junior high.

Thank you very much Rose!  Je suis Américain. I just like to practice every once in awhile...it's a beautiful language. I went on to minor in French in college. I am glad you like the poem. I am learning many new styles from DUP competitions. I appreciate your encouraging words.
