Humanity's Fate

Spread your wings like a dove and soar through the purple rain
Fly as far away as you possibly can from the heartache and pain
Ascending to the heavens to converse face to face with GOD
Ask her the million dollar question about why life is so hard

Take solace and comfort in temporarily being detached from it all
Enjoy the high euphoric feeling like you're on a shopping spree at the mall
Illuminate your mind with what you find that's right within your grasp
Take in slow, deep breaths avoiding hyperventilating gasp

Parlay with all of the elders who've long ago passed away
Absorb game by attentively listening to every word they say
Knowledge seek with those who're willing to teach
Then upon return share it with those within your reach

Each one teach one so that we can make a change
Time is of the essence because the world's deranged
The patients are running the asylum and injecting hate
Spreading this toxic venom and sealing humanity's fate
