Image for the poem Moon Tea

Moon Tea

chamomile and mint
ad-minting that you've cicada
waiting for water
to crack this shell,
easing the discomfort of nettles
or bee bites under canopy
of entropy by night.

honey in hibiscus
sweet and tart, as am I,
the ladybug that ran
but never got anywhere
near the hive,
circling silver stirring
honeysuckle by moonlight.
