I Have Been Around You Know
You come to me expecting me
to be your friend and you and I
know or should we say we both
know that you would do me wrong
anytime you had anything to gain
you are only wanting something
from me or you are needing
someone to lean on...because
you are not strong...you fail
to realize I can see this world
through your eyes as well as
mine...you have forgotten that
I have been around you know
I have found only one real truth
a true friend is hard to come by

I had wrote thelovepoet on some papers i found but I had never been on social media I typed it in here and I am thelovepoet so it sounded good but I have taken a hit or two that is all and I still like it
