Their burlesque bather’s sorority
Convenes in the pool shower room
Where coeds go for rain on sunny days
With the only thunder, their hearts beating
And better yet naked under the downpour
Where no laws on indecent exposure apply
 
But Louie the lifeguard
from the left side of the brain
lets his ears drink the punch of their laughter
and gets drunk as a sailor on shore leave
from the touch of their sound waves on his eardrums
and crosses the bridge into his right hemisphere
where his artist lives
who with a brush in hand paints
like Renoir
But with models hidden
behind walls of propriety
