Virgo Rising @ Starbucks

Unshaven.
In black and white.
Like cup of Pico Dark,
its evidence in limbo
stretches his senses
waiting in a niche,
the early wake
with bags of
roasted whole bean
retail.

Pastries.
In glass case display.
He holds a vigil to the
sound of ghost’d speak
watching passers-by
passing time & fail
to piped-in jazz,
while empty
sipping @ coffee’s
edges.

Slow drip.
Thru filter'd mind.
Like a glowing sunrise
from laptop Apple face
that steels his watch
in an anxious chill
like an epitaph,
sans a voice
sans her live warmth
scented.

How I enjoyed Virgo (Rising) @ Starbucks @ Starbucks. I love how you shaped the poem... Balloons and/or frothy cappuccinos... Both will give you a rise. (As your poem did me...)

i want to drink coffee now,listen to jazz at the bistro at the bijou, and talk to attractive French girls with slightly unattracive underarm hair lol.
excellent structure and layout, it reminds me of a reversable illusion clown drawing from when i was a kid. one had a tiny body and a big head;flip it over and the other had a fat body and a tiny head.
i also want to throw expensive cups of coffee of the top of buildings for some reason too...i'm not sure where that feeling fits in but its there lol.
it's a cannoli kind of day.

Thank you, Samael - my goodness - the way some of my more recent writes, particularly during the WriMo, have had their effects on readers, it's amazing!
