Part 3_ THEY CLEARED THEIR CONSCIENCE !

A friend of mine told her the truth,
And she was too clean to accept.
She threw me out with all my wealth,
And tears all my dreams quickly swept.

The house was locked, the wealth was left,
And we both lived poor and apart.
All my dreams in my heart were kept,
And with sad heart, they would depart.

She left me and sailed on wide sea.
I could find her but had no face.
All my hope got her eyes to see
Ere l dwelt in my final house.

I lived with dreams and thus would die
Wrapped in the tears l could not shun.
I built great hope that turned to sigh,
Caused by my daughter and that man.
