brown
leather
three seater couch
The Whiskey
is nestled
on the floor;
reading, in this
rather intriguing
book

Glance up at the newly
installed
Steam Punk
light fitting
Enjoying the creativity
born from
black
steel
rope
pipe
wire
and light

It's universal really
the moments
of complete
freedom,
quietly
left alone
at home

There is a rather
fundamental
difference
between
being alone
and lonely

Somehow when a
mind
learns
it's own content
happiness
The outside is a lonely
place
With it's plastic smiles
Mannequin outfits
and
Holywood dogma

They say
it's hard to be loved
when you've
been
single
a long time

We all know that's only true
if the lover
is a control freak
who finds
the self reliant
offensive
[Who needs more of that]

Frankly
I'm not giving up my book
- couch
- whiskey
or the flutters of creativity
I splatter through my
home
and life

Neither should you
You've been labled
The Goddess
because see
you live your own life
celebrating
independence
and bake
when
necessary

These my darling
are the qualities
of self dicipline
self reliance
life living
that

LOVE

unconditionally

So crawl next to me
on this
old couch
[pour what you feel like]
and bring
your own
mental creativity
and gymnastics

hold hands
through it
to
the other side
