Do you know what love is ?
 
Do you know how to give and take ? Do you know when it's critical to make your presence felt ? 
 
I wish I knew how to touch that side of you, without leaving you feeling inadequate.
 
So many questions hang upon your lips, and the answers are oft found upon the tip of my tongue.
 
Love, is oft found in a look, a touch, a smile.
 
Found, in the words that you say, or the gentle whispers that we might share under the ambience of a flickering flame, whilst you're tapping your fingers upon mine, or the way you run your finger along the full length of my spine to the arch in my back as we cherish the heat of one anothers breath, trailing each other’s flesh.
 
And those soft whispers are like a never ending lyric that keeps me bound to you in a crowded room full of people, as all I hear & see is you as you search my eyes for your reflection.
 
It can be found in moments that your bare skin is melting into the molten heat of mine as those moments are like tiny reinforcements that let me know to where & whom, I belong.
 
I linger upon the cusp of your threshold as you’ve left your mark upon my heart & soul but you're too far to care, and still, I can hear the tune of don't dream it's over... humming in my mind.
 
You make me smile just thinking about you and the memories we made as they haunt me upon the dreamscape.  
 
You're entirely lovely, even when you’re preparing to hit the open road, to nowhere in particular... and I’m still yours.
