Night Will Bring Chaos

They call us the seeds of oblivion.
The sanctified sons of the void.
Singing the songs of contrition.
Hoping we all be destroyed.

Death to the tyrants surrounded.
Feeble in might as are frail.
For the end will soon be compounded.
And the class of thirteen set to sail.

Crumbling imaginations.
Tremors in our dreams.
Something has awakened.
In our mind screams.

Four thousand dead in an instant.
Bodies strewn on the ground.
In temples as ancient, now silent.
No future remains to be found.

The death toll rises a million.
The seas will rise to compare.
The nations will fall in ascension.
And madness will reign in the air.

Olympians and angels.
Ride to meet the storm.
Valkyries defending.
All falling before.

The devastation vanquish.
All who stand in his way.
The god of darkness anguished.
Is risen from the waves.

This will no longer be a day of celebration.
The carnal hatred borne here is supreme.
All hail and bow before his glorious decimation.
Or burn as one within his red eyes' gleam.

Tentacles and tendrils choke the withered land.
His claws will catch, his massive jaws will snatch.
Nuclear holocaust will burst out from his hands.
There is no new salvation, no desperate plan to hatch.

He stands on the coast of San Francisco.
Uncoiling limbs to rape this world of sin.
His wings stretch from Juneau to Mexico.
All kingdoms of the world see only him.

As his shadow falls across the future wastes.
The sun goes down on us one last time.
Mighty pulsating mass, towering raging face.
Lord Cthulhu has come at last to dine.

When the night falls.
He'll consume us all.
He has heard the call.

Son of abyss.
Wielding death's kiss.
Set us adrift.

Rend our souls.
Devour us whole.
You in control.

Into death we cross.
The whole Earth is lost.
The night will bring.
Chaos!

Redacted, he'll rise from his city of woes.
Slobbering, squeezing through gaping holes.
His name is deleted sleeping dead he dreams.
Whatever you do, pay attention to me!

Removing all distractions from your petty so-called life.
Watching every move you make, your futureal wife.
She's got her eyes locked on you, won't let you escape.
Breaking out of the screen into your room and rape.

Her breathing on your neck, the pulsing heart.
Somehow becoming real in the evil dark.
Waking from worlds behind computer screens.
Removing all else, ghosts of the machine.

The ground falls away revealing empty universe.
Archaic blackness in every direction.
She calls you inside, and this is her willing curse.
Consumes for eternity and you're her selection.

In the howling dark.
She steals your heart.
She stole every part.

The daughter of bliss.
A midnight kiss.
Always adrift.

Captured your soul.
She's in control.
Taking you whole.

She takes you across.
Too high the cost.
The night will bring.
Chaos!

Invention.
The mother of madness.
Discretion.
The great foe divine.
Disciples.
Burn fever inside them.
Recital.
A sonnet for the stars.

Cosmic dysphoria.
Dreams of Lemuria.
Time opens wide.
Step inside.
And witness displacement.

Claws of ethereal matter swoop down.
Cannot escape them, built from nightmares.
Devastating eons and cosmic walls.
Torn from the fabric of the universe.

White spots erasing, color replacing.
Beyond the place poets and madmen see.
Reality defaced, existence is chased.
Into the void where the others be.

Halfway from gods to men.
Creatures we can't understand.
With whims and wills beyond our ken.
Climbing the ladder, look up to them.

Space and time fall away, four dimensions unravel.
Reaching through the boundary where we cannot travel.
Creating ripples in the universe that drives all mortals mad.
These are the final moments of the frail universe we've had.

From beyond the veil.
Unholy voices wail.
Armageddon's tale.

Freedom's death wish.
Cold and cutting kiss.
Death is our gift.

Time's taken its toll.
So as it unrolls.
Have we met our goal.

Plucking Azathoth.
From eternal cloth.
The night will bring.
Chaos!

Night will bring chaos.
Chaos!
