Between you and me —
I much prefer
A naked space between,
Don’t you?
The air to circulate
Amongst the flesh
Mon cher,
Accommodating
Everything we touch
And do.
And when it comes the
Time to close in tight,
Mon dieu,
The pleasantries
Agreeable to form
Insist.
Will it begin to
Open other space
To fill,
To languor leisurely
In damp and flow,
To slip.
And so will come
Another phase of sex
And us —
The aromatic arts
Of hidden depth
Explore,
Inhaling all the
Vapors humors draw
From one.
To stimulate the body
With liqueur
To sip,
To open spaces wide
To breathe and rest
La nuit.
