THE ROSE OF SHARON
Her eyes a diamond shine
a sapphire as blue as heaven.
The coolness- the ease in her steps
a cat- her walk is a gaity peps'.
Her creamy lips of berry
her oval cone, a shape of merry.
A black beauty- a gift to adorn
A wild rose in the garden of Sharon.
Her body a sculptors dream
at her eight, who would grim?
The flower of my garden
a replica of Eden
I remain your only moon
amidst your many stars.
