Time Oasis
There was a time
he thought time to be the enemy.
Time, the imperceptible
and the elusive.
Time and time again
he analyzed the enemy's strengths
scrutinized the enemy's weaknesses
resulting to confusion and many a dead end...
Until one day
he paused
struck a pose
and held it forever...
It seemed as if
time stood still
admiringly watching
and enemies they were no more...

That is wonderful to behold and resonates with me personally.
In Buddhism I am taught about 1st attention and 2nd attention. First attention is the busy monkey mind which contemplates the ins and outs of everything, relying on scraps of past memory for every decision. Second attention is to listen to spirit, silence self and allow awareness to go deeper and expand. I read first with first attention, then more deeply with second attention.
To accept and befriend the self allows one to befriend and accept everything, because it's all you.
Your message and meter are in harmony and your close is sublime. Admired this poet.
