Aquaphobia

My bellicose warrior
how you portray your silhouette
Is it cruel or lenient
Have you ever fought for me
Maybe I’m a mere traveler for ya
and an actual coward with aquaphobia
Love dipping my feet into your flowing
but never outgrow the fear of drowning

My beloved worrier
Take me away with your tides
it’s the easy way for me to say goodbye
Wipe my tears off with your ties
it’s the easy way for me to open my eyes
The restless waves show your worries
for I have never learned how to swim
Will you be singing for me while I am sinking

My endearing savior
I was just born that way
a high-strung human being
seeking your everlasting grace
dreaming living in your embrace
Let me taste how passionate
a rock star’s affection
rock me sleep in the baby-bassinet

If I could swim, I wouldn’t fear
For a moment
I wish I have been equipped with safety gear
but where are the life jackets
When the ferry is moored to the shore
a jaunty walk quickens my pace
a glory smile brightens my face

What a great relief!
At the moment
the misty air comes to life!
I am alive!
