The Great Rain
The Great Rain
Down from my eyes pours the great rain
Never enough to wash away all my pain
I guess I only get what I truly deserve
Lap up whatever cold she does serve
Flood of evil emotions over my brain
Still leaves behind thoughts I claim
The deluge of darkness pillage my day
No amount of self deception can fade it away
Red fingers pour like a great rain on the floor
I so wish I was not myself anymore
