"Soul Sleep" is Garbage

Here's a bit of evidence against the SDA doctrine of "soul  sleep":
(1)Revelation 6 pictures the souls of THE DEAD asking Christ, "When will You avenge our deaths ??"
My point is that they are obviously CONSCIOUS, AWAKE not asleep when they ask this question.
But I am sure that the SDA zealots won't let mere Bible passages stand in the way of their slavish loyalty to this soul sleep doctrine.

(2)Christ says,"the hour is coming and NOW is when the dead will hear the voice of God..."(John 5.25). Now if you are asleep you don't hear the voice of someone talking to you, calling you. "Hearing" implies being conscious, awake.
Am I right or wrong ???
And Christ says it applies to the present time -- "and now is."

(3) Paul the apostle was stoned to death and then the Christians gathered around him, praying for his return to life(Acts 14.19).
He arose after being temporarily DEAD.
While he was dead, meaning that his soul was absent frim his body,
his soul "was caught up to the third heaven"(2 Corinthians 12.2-4), where he jumped into  bed and went to sleep???
No, of course not.(Sorry to disappoint you, my SDA friends.)
No, Paul HIMSELF says he remained CONSCIOUS !!!
He says he learned "things not lawful" to share with us who are on Earth.
This agrees with the tales of folks who have had "NDEs" or near-death experiences while being temporarily dead.
(Dead until they got revived by medical doctors, usually.)
A lot of these fortunate people (how I envy them!!) tell of being given the answers to all their questions on all kinds of subjects - while they were in heaven.
So no, they didn't get to experience "soul sleep," - what a pity !!
I'm sure they feel deprived, well maybe not so much.

Finally, since the SDA church has been growing steadily until now they number in the millions,
I am sure MANY,MANY of them have had real-live NDEs !!!
They come back to this world with something to share and what happens??!!
Their pastors and fellow SDA adherents tell them to "shut up!!" about what they saw and heard in heaven !!
Isn't that as bad as the Pharisees telling Christ to get His followers to shut up - on Palm Sunday when the people were saying "save us," ("Hosanna in the highest").
It was the Sunday right before His Resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Yes, you SDA pastors and evangelists like Doug Batchelor are living proof that Jews and Christians are very similar.
The term Christ used on the Jews applies equally well to Christians: "blind guides."
