yesterday whispered Spring,
poets boasting of the coming green
thoughts mixed within mind and heart
as God brought a calming message
blankets of snow, beautiful white
clean, refreshing air rejoicing snow
Spring shall be soon but today
I am comforted in blankets of white

There's a stillness, an awaiting feeling, that comes with deep blankets of snow. Sound is muffled and everything comes to a slow stop. Nature's way of saying slow down and pay attention to my beauty. Gorgeous imagery. :-)
