Johnny McSneed and the Super Good Deed

Let's start and the start, a great place to commence,
If you're at the beginning, that's plain common sense,
Said Johnny McSneed to his cousin Michelle.
I was riding to school, and juggling as well,
About three or four balls, with my usual skill.
But when pedalling uphill I had a slight spill.
I hit the ground hard, badly skinning my knee,
I got to my feet, and tried to walk, gingerly.

Things weren't going so good, then my tale had a twist:
A motorist noticed, and she stopped to assist.
I was touched by the kindness and care she displayed,
She knew what to do, being well-versed in first aid,
And fixed up my knee, and at that moment I knew,
That helping a person's not a bad thing to do.

Now lending a hand isn't anything new:
Everyone knows it is right to do good,
By helping another, that's quite understood.
I have to admit though, it was rather rare,
For me to display much compassion and care.
But her kindness was catching, and opened my eyes,
It made me decide I would aim to do likewise.
And that's how I came to come up with my plan,
To do as much good as I possibly can ....
