Meant to be?

I can't catch my breath,
I'm hollow inside.
Tears keep falling,
Is this what's meant to be calling?
My heart now broken in two,
Whatever can I do?
My soul, that I cherished so much,
Now weak to the touch.
My body now shaking,
Was it meant for the taking?
My mind is the one meant to be taken,
Is it meant to be?
I'm not sure as I can't see.
Was it all just a dream?
I left, gone I said,
Is this where I was suppose to be lead?
Now regretting those words,
Now worlds apart,
I don't know where to go,
I don't know what to do,
Everything has sank upon you.
