BABYLON ANCHOR

Cast a dice, go against the odds
dying of lit, time to consult the gods
So far from my goals
but am close to my hills
Burning daylight thrills
Oh dawn! I hope you got my bills!
Struggling on the edge of a precipice
a cliff so high for a dwarf-ice.
The sun rays blazing on me azure
and my feet got bruised but true
Some how I got rugged from the tempest
a babylonian anchor from life's duress
that not even an armored tank can gun me down.
I'll victor the horrors of the night
and hug the joy that comes at dawn.
