Christ's Own Example Tells Us to Be Involved in Politics
Israel at the time of Christ was a theocracy.
Sure the Romans occupied the landand ruled it.
But under them the Jews were allowed to rule on local or lesser matters.
So when Christ argued and denounced the Jewish religious leaders,
He was actually arguing and condemning the political leaders !!
For the religious leaders doubled as politicians.
He was setting an example for us to follow today.to be politically involved.
So when pastors/evangelicals like John Macarthur tell us to stay away from political action, he is going directly against Christ !!!
And should be disowned as a false teacher.
Half the Christians in America dont even vote.
No wonder we have the troubles we have in today's culture:
Legalized porn, abortion, homosexuality, even gay marriage on top of "civil union."

By being against Christians in politics, you have aided the enemy,
becoming a Judas Iscariot figure.

In the 19th century that would have kept a good many Christians from campaigning to abolish slavery.

Right you are.And it did do so. For the % of Christians that got involved was not nearly what it should/could have been.
