Masquerade

“The child who
is not embraced by the village
will burn it down to
feel its warmth"...African Proverb

^^^^

sexy mythological beast
self aggrandized..conceptualized
through the lens
of marginalizes eyes
the lord of flies
stunted in this banana republic
deemed repugnant

a paper tiger..hunted
thoroughly flayed
the imp-eror has no clothes
displayed as exhibit A in
this ghetto gallery
the most exotic zoo this
side of the galaxy
consumed with masculine fallacies
fetish-sized ...fossilized
ostracisized

the main attraction
a raw nerve
desensitized by the puppeteer's
many string theories
ham-strung along the lines of
emotional dysfunction

showcased daily
in the modern coloseum
caged behind cyber-screen museums
like a bled out unicorn
uniform in thought
fought the wrong battles for eons
from king to peon to raging bull
charging matadors..only seeing red
never read between the lines
vision smeared by
generational campaigns

pain reigns supreme
in the past present and future
as the acclimated norm
sins of the the father
reaped upon the fatherless
lovesess..homeless
publicly housed in breeding pens
ejaculating prophesied doom
into tainted wombs

the perennial
dishonor of 'old terra'
proceeding unabated
by the patriarch of a lagacy's virus
upon this era
stillborn in mental captivity

another error uncorrected
branded the new terror
image concocted
corrupted by propaganda
as the greatest show on earth
presents yet another storied version
of the sexy mythological beast
