Whenever I Fall

In scabbard night spill radar flecks,
Of light's engage and disarray,
My jigsaw heart recounts your name.

A crowded house beneath your feet,
The fog swept sheets of Angels gone,
Awaiting never coming calls.

That youth, that ignorance's lust,
Passed unrelenting moon for love,
Frail wash of tears, I fall, I fall…

Author's Note
Late night listen to Crowded House's "Fall at Your Feet" took me back to Los Angeles mid-1980's (the capitalized Angels in line 2 of the second stanza implies location) and a girl I knew - thanks, Neil 😒.
