have you ever longed for something
wished upon every star
that the thing you want
wasnt very far

have you every missed something
so badly that it kills you
with every moment occupied
by the pain your mind must go through

have you every longed for somebody
to just hold you in an imbrace
left you cry into their chest
and wipe the tears from your face

have you ever missed somebody
so much that you could die
and every breath you take
makes you want to cry

have you every watched the stars
have you ever seen them die
as they fade away to nothing
does anybody cry

do you think that people miss them
or are there always more to see
