Image for the poem ON SHORE OF THE LAKE

ON SHORE OF THE LAKE

I watch her, on shore of the lake,
Slow steps into the water take,
Barefoot, in her white mini dress.
Sun's shine shows up the nakedness
Of her young curves, but, underneath
I saw, no shade of disbelief,
Not a shift of her underwear
Blocks my view of the places where
You expect pants and bra would be
On her youthful nubile body.
The innocence of dress of white
Can't block the thoughts this does excite,
My honourable intentions
Break in the sexual tensions.
She turns her head and calls to me,
"Let's swim, the water is lovely".
"But we haven't brought swimming things",
I protest, but her face quick wrings,
The look that always says to me,
"You're not listening properly!"
"I've already swam in this place bare
As nature intended. So there
Is no need to be such a prude.
Follow my lead, you can swim nude."
She proclaimed while unbuttoning
Her frock. Under jeans I was hardening
As her bare body came in view,
Then her dress in my face she threw.
Upon dry ground I put it down.
"Come on darling, you won't drown."
I luxuriate in the sight
Of her figure, boldly upright,
Legs, breasts, haired pudenda.
My last reserve I surrender
To her daring, smiling, appeal
To join her in the big reveal.
With thanks I strip in the rushes,
Come out to her without blushes,
'Baptised' I was in the water
By my neighbour's fairest daughter
Taking me to places so deep
You could tread water, upright keep,
Sharing how all-round cool it felt;
"If I'd stayed on dry land, I'd melt",
I joked, preferring the pool's wet
To, in the hottening sun, sweat.
We came out, upright, at time same
Then lay on grass to dry, no shame,
As sun worked on our backs and thighs
We talked into each other's eyes.
