Terror rouses
bowels -
depths panging
with ripping grips;
inside incisors
of gnarled oaken fangs
Wailing Lady Freedom
lets slip
her weighty
lordly
finery
to jagged
dogged
jaws of brambles
Once evaded;
wolvish lures
uproot mouthfulls
of angel
wool
Fleece;
fails as armor
for your back
Slay the stray...
lest he calls
his pack

Thank you so much! Yes of course! It isn't my poic or idea, it was one from a group on FB called "Poetry Planet" (which is public) so I'm sure it's indeed a positive thing to pass on.
