Crimson gleams of lust  
still holding to their stare
strewn wine glasses tossed  
where passions last night spilt
lingering embers spark, igniting  
dreams of an unfilled book
charred corners burn, urging
new chapters to be built
 
Lay down close to me  
by the fire of my desire
clasp your hand in mine  
take this solemn word and
lean in my direction
where whispers tell the truth
and heartbeats never lie
 
Sit with me and write
a story about love
where future's always will be
a tight held mystery
where two meld into one
and drift off
