Won't Play That Game

Take that smile and aim it somewhere else
I’ve seen your kind before
I won’t be taken in or by surprise
By your pretty face and bedroom eyes
I suppose I could turn the tables
And use you the way you would use me
But in the end you would count me among your victims anyway
Since it’s the only way you can see
You’ll never understand real love
Or feel the real thing in your heart
To you it’s just a game to be played
And I don’t want to play any part
So turn your fair face away from me
And just let me be as I am
I’m happier here all alone
And my self-respect is still all I need
