dangling

Nodding off and on,
roommates hack, I yawn.
My tomorrow got
tired of boy upon

bed under his dawn

breaking at the wrong
time and distance. God,
too many miles drawn:

 Jose to Utah.

his ears to my song.

his hands to my bra
clasp, heaven and all.

Ugly rust, exhaust
splits my little jaw.

I can hardly call
back my springing, strong
sound; a leaf in fall
wind, I dangle on,

going deathly bronze
in want of his flaws.

submission for the Night Bluebird competition. I got excited. Hope slant rhyme counts.
