The Hyde Inside 2

Jeckyll on his best behavior, clean and true
Nearly angelic to his patients at little charge
The admonition "do no harm" framed upon the wall
The doctor strictly a healer with the local poor
No hint of malice in his ways
House calls made on better days

He drinks a concoction, the devil's brew
The formula to draw "evil" to the surface
The id and instinct get their chance
Lechery and greed adorned with murderous intent

Jeckyll sinks shrieking to the floor
Hyde emerges, Hell's own fire in his eyes
London's streets and alleys welcome him
A "guvnor" looking for some sin
The whores welcome the dapper beast
Catch the coins he casts heedlessly
Then follow him into the rolling fog

Jeckyll wakes to find his clothes stained with blood
Perhaps some semen here and there
And a note penned by his darker side:
"You've lost.  Sincerely Edward Hyde"
