6: 41:  Under Love's Frost

Excerpt 41 from Journal 6, 'Becoming My True Love'
  - From ' Journals To My True Love, Part 2 '

My Love, you lie under the frost like my sleeping insight...
How you enlighten me in crystalline moments of truth...
Sleep so soundly in the dark and dream of me and you
in the endless white winter of eternity where the colors
have finally bled away; the colors of our lives...
Here, we are transparent and light is all of what we are...
I would kiss you in death as I applauded you in life...
We are but two frozen souls becoming one at last...
I can never find you in any place my eyes look so I
must look inside to view you...
I have transcended the heart to find you frozen in time...
Time moves forward but we exist in a static moment
like the pattern of a snowflake...
We are one and the same pattern and we fall together
and land in the same place to dissolve into the ground...
Your dissolving is mine as our pattern is resonant as the
breeze whispers it to the world..
We are, we are, you and I...
We land on the snows multitudes where dreams go to die...
In this dying we are reborn...
You will give birth to me as I, you, what pain, what ecstasy
  to be turned inside out...
The snowflake knows it is but water to ebb away, yet it
still enjoys its journey, its fall...
It must be frozen alive to do this and my heart must remain
frozen to embrace you, My Love...
The deep freeze preserves us timelessly...
How the unique snowflake tells its own story, even if only
  when seen under a microscope...
How, frozen you fall softly onto my skin to melt into words
I absorb and how they flow from my hearts atmosphere
where you rest in frigid utero and are magnified into
a story as unique as the snowflake you once were,
and in my heart, still are...
