GORE
I know too well
That I am truly without soul
Unphased, expressionless
Unfeeling, not even revulsion
To behold such horror
Like an immunity to ipecac
A man decapitated with a dull knife
His partner skinned alive
Ribcage exposed, intestines pouring out
Screaming through the tape
Over his mouth
Laid to rest on that headless corpse
It was a scene pulled from nightmare
The most brutal, inhumane torture
One could possibly perceive
Not even livestock before slaughter
Could compare to it
And yet...
How long has it been
Since last I felt sympathy?
How real must it be
To finally disturb me?
I wonder just how far
Into the abyss of humanity
One could descend
As I have not yet touched solid ground
Despite this, I leave this page with a warning
Avoid watching that video at all costs
Lest you find yourself
In need of therapy

Brave work here, Mr. Void. I think society has a insensitive stigma against physcopathic people (even those like me who exhibit some physcopathic behaviors experience judgment). I truly think that physcopath shouldn't be feared. I think sociopath is worse but still should be understood to the best of the individuals ability.

Poetry wouldn't be worth reading without soul and every emotion that comes with it, no matter how macabre. Be less afraid and more astute in life. The former distracts the latter, and I agree. Don't be a target online for the wolves. Shrewdness is that warning voice in your head.
