I know a couple of people who ain’t here no more
Before I dig into this topic ion fear no joker
Don’t care about your bank or who you around
Before you talk about us you better fear our crown
When you grow up in the world with skin this dark
They don’t see you as “the people”
They don’t see you as an equal
They see you as an illegal
Illegal to the race of the people
But there’s no competition when we in the race
We soar above the people
That’s the end of the race
My people are tired of crying same story different face
We tired of trials same jury different case
It’s hard in America when there’s guns in your face by the ones who chase the black race
We got goals like yall
Mind controlling like yall
Not trying to expose all yall
But this pressure got me folding all yall
Please say a prayer to the angels yall owe them that favor
RIP to the people who lost their lives to waivers
The waivers of 12s strap that was the white man’s favor
Yall think yall can walk in our shoes
Yall can’t run a mile in these
We spent our lives in these
We ran the streets with these
We had to fight for these
We got our rights with these
We about to take the lead
On your fear we feed
Society’s car we keyed
But we the last of the dying breed
Just give us these 28 days and on your fate we feed.
