Male friends

“*To* *my* *former* *male* *friends*”

So we can share pizzas
We can share gossip
We can share laughter
But can not share Hearts?

I should have written a Sweet love poem
But I tasted my heart
By how I feel from the things that you do to me
I understand this is not a Sweet love poem

This is me unwrapping truth in words
Cause I don’t know how to hide metaphors.

We were friends
I traded all of me
just for your negative criticism
And the way you carry yourself about perfectionism

I don’t understand why men
wouldn’t want to do businesses
when they are just friends.

We had deep minds and similarities, but you showed ungratefulness and Insecurities. Why must this be our only differences?

Men of these days
Don’t know how to shut up and invest,
To work hard on themselves,
To pick up each other hands and support ourselves.

I don’t understand why men
Wouldn’t crave simplicity .

I don’t want to put money in my pockets
from the pain of another man’s sweat.
But you can’t keep begging
Because you live in buying things
with dollars you should have saved to invest.

So can we stop sharing gossips
And share ideas ?
Can we look up to a brother
Whos already made it
Without jealousy and envy?

Can we share hearts
And not make fuss like chicks on sidewalks?
Can we look at a brother like a brother,
And stop messing up... ?

But I write this piece to my former male friends who still see themselves as my enemy, there’s no energy for hatred. In this heart is love and let go, so I’ve released your vibes from the day you showed how small you are.

I hope you grow and be examples to younger brothers, I’m tired seeing the young craving determination while you’re making excuses that you only live once.

“Peace”
