Borderline
Cracking, thudding
The hole in the wall becoming more and more
unstable, as I cover it
with more tape, Band-Aids, and bottle caps
Water trickling through my fingers
only a few droplets to begin with, then
a stream, and eventually a waterfall,
no control
The hole grew darker, deeper,
my hands desperately trying to hold
it back,
screams ripping from someone's throat
The liquid began to gradient
into the color of blood, becoming
thicker, less opaque,
viciously staining my skin, my teeth, and the room's floor
Cracks like clawmarks began to spread
consuming the entirety of the wall
in a thunderous fall of the suffocating
manifestation
Yet, falling to knees,
hands over eyes and hair
dripping
I blinked
Dry clothes.
Sealed wall.
