Two by Two
God gave Noah a boat,
(the size of three great whales)
that would deliver his family
from a great flood.
Rid the earth of all sinful humanity
and start again
from scratch.
(Just a pinch though)
Noah loaded them
two by two,
all shapes,
sizes,
and colors.
Then came the family.
In they went
for a
month.
Till Noah
released a hopeful dove,
for three endless days.
On the third night
it did not return.
They found land
and praised their Father.
Unloaded the animals
two by two,
All shapes,
Sizes,
and colors.
They praised God
and all was
good.
